Nicki Minaj Should Learn the Definition of "Turnt"

 

A brutal free-for-all broke out at Nicki Minaj's concert over the weekend ... and though Nicki's pretty much inspirational across the board, it's also pretty strange that she'd downplay an outright pepper-spray-filled melee, referring to the incident as people just being "turnt."

Nicki Minaj is all about being a positive inspiration to her young fans—again and again, we hear her tell them to stay in school. She's all about pointing out sexist double standards, and the impossible expectations that society places on women and little girls. Nicki is also, you know, amazing. She's incredibly talented and fiercely independent, and all of this has earned her a lot of well-deserved love.

So bear with us if we find it a little inappropriate that when Nicki took to Instagram Saturday afternoon to address the concert, all she had to say was this:

Sold out show in the Bay Area last night ❤️. They were more than turnT... Let's just say that. Lol. Can't wait to see u guys again.

We're not saying that Nicki is responsible for what happened orthat this is typical of her fans. But people coming out to have a good time and then being getting attacked? It seems kind of irresponsible to laugh off an event that could have gotten even worse very quickly.
