Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambode Earmarks 181 LG Roads For Construction In 2017

Lagos state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Thursday, January 19, said that his administration would consolidate on its infrastructural renewal drive with the construction of 181 local government roads in the current fiscal year, saying the process for the award of the contract would commence next week.

Governor Ambode, who spoke at the first Quarterly Town Hall Meeting for 2017, the sixth in the series, held at the Ajelogo Housing Scheme, Ajelogo Market Road, Akanimodo, Mile 12, said the 181 roads, is an improvement on the 114 roads, two in each local government, which his administration promised to embark upon every year.

Acknowledging that most of the requests made by residents during the interactive session at the Town Hall Meeting were majorly on roads owing to the success of the 114 roads delivered in September 2016, the Governor said his administration thought it wise to ensure that the roads captured for 2017 are key roads that would have economic impact on the people living in that axis, hence the increase to 181 roads.

Donald Trump Builds Border Wall

American President  Donald Trump
The American President Donald Trump is preparing to sign executive actions on his first day in the White House on Friday to take the opening steps to crack down on immigration, build a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border and roll back outgoing President Barack Obama's policies.

Trump, a Republican elected on Nov. 8 to succeed Democrat Obama, arrived in Washington on a military plane with his family a day before he will be sworn in during a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.

Aides said Trump would not wait to wield one of the most powerful tools of his office, the presidential pen, to sign several executive actions that can be implemented without the input of Congress.

"He is committed to not just Day 1, but Day 2, Day 3 of enacting an agenda of real change, and I think that you're going to see that in the days and weeks to come," Trump spokesman Sean Spicer said on Thursday, telling reporters to expect activity on Friday, during the weekend and early next week.

SHOCKING REVELATION:- Boko Haram To Strike The South -East - Nigerian Soldier

Boko Haram to strike the south -east. I don't know how true this is, but I got it from a whatsapp group I'm in and claims proved it to be coming from a Nigerian military officer. He says "READ WHAT A SOLDIER POSTED
'' Attention ! Attention !! Attention !!! "

I am a soldier, I will not give my name for the sake of my life . my message is simple, I can't stop myself from letting people understand the danger they are in,in Nigeria (especially those in the southeast),after my fellow soldiers here in southern Kaduna, Kaduna state, yesterday being Sunday 08 march, invaded a church and killed innocent Christian youths guarding their church against suicide bombers from  gaining access in to the church compound during their church service. My conscience keeps judging me for not letting people know what I know. I am a christian but here in the military camp, I dare not let them know about this or I will be on the next troop heading to confront Boko Haram without enough rains of ammunition to fight them and certainly will get killed . most of our men deployed to fight Boko Haram are christian soldiers from the eastern and southeastern part of the country ,I cry inside me each time they leave the camp to confront Boko Haram as most of them don't make it back alive and nobody cares to retrieve their body from Boko Haram .

In South Sudan Former model's sex tape with bottle leaks online

Former South Sudanese model, Nyaleap Thomas Jal known as Thomas Patience on Facebook has suddenly become the object of controversy as her sex tape leaks online.
In this digital age where very little is left to the imagination, a leaked sex tape isn't so much pf a big, except for the fact that South Sudan is a staunchly conservative in their behaviour.

Hot In Juba reports that the sex tape which is in two parts, shows the naked model, having fun with herself, and unlike Nigeria's Chidinma Okeke's cucumber preference, Nyaleap goes for a bottle.
