Coming on the heels of the N78m website project, allegedly approved by the former Governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), another allegation has surfaced, concerning a bore-hole project.
News from our sources says the ex-Gov. allegedly awarded a contract worth N139m, for the drilling of two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
This was revealed on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.
Some other projects also posted on their site, include the approval of $14,650,000.00 for the purchase of 4 -Car Elecrtic Multi Unit Train, which was awarded to Messrs. CCECC/CNR (JV Partners)
Other details of the Governor’s approvals include the
replacement of the railings of a pedestrian bridge on Carter Bridge
from Ido to Idumota with concrete railings, which cost N175m. The contract was awarded to A Abicon Engineering Limited.Some Lagosians say though Fashola has cleared the air on the website
issue, he still has some questions to answer, regarding the bore-hole
contract.
