A single-passenger Hawker Hunter plane has crashed into a major road leaving at least seven people dead.
According to reports, the plane hit several cars as it crashed onto a road on Saturday, August 22, 2015 during the Shoreham Airshow in Brighton.
Police
said there were several casualties. The road, the A27, is closed in
both directions and drivers are asked to avoid the area for the rest of
the day.
Local authorities have confirmed that seven people have died as a result of the plane crash, according to the BBC.
The
victims all died at the site of the crash, with two others, one in
critical condition and one with minor injuries, taken to a local
hospital.
There are also ten other people with minor injuries being treated at the scene of the crash.
