On Saturday, August 15, 2015 it was disclosed that The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has begun aerial operations against Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa Forest. This was said by the NAF’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Air Commodore Dele Alonge.
The Air Force has deployed F-7NI and Alpha jets as
well as attack helicopters for the operation intended to combat and
incapacitate the insurgents.
