Lady Gaga Slays In First Photos from the "American Horror Story: Hotel" Set

 

Lady Gaga has officially checked into "American Horror Story: Hotel."
The "Born This Way" singer was photographed on set for the first time on Wednesday evening, as the FX series filmed outside of LACMA in Los Angeles.
It's clear they were shooting some sort of gala scene, as both Gaga and the extras were dressed to the nines ... the 29-year-old looking more glamorous than ever in a fuchsia gown featuring a dramatic cape and silver embellishments. She was also seen wearing that hardcore glove featured in one of the early promos for the new season.


During the Television Critics Association tour earlier this month, show creator Ryan Murphy revealed a few details about her character.
Gaga will play a "wealthy social doyenne" named Elizabeth, who is "consumed with art and fashion and people, and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode." That whole evil thing aside, it sounds like Liz and Gags might have a few things in common!
Her character is also bisexual and will have relationships with Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett and Cheyenne Jackson.

Gaga's casting came about after she reportedly wrote Murphy herself, asking if he'd ever consider using her in the show. He replied "YES" and she called him a couple days later. The rest, is history.
While this is the first time we've seen her on set, she's already been bonding with the rest of the cast, holding a party for her costars at her home and dying the pool blood red for the occasion.
She's also won early acclaim from Kathy Bates, who tweeted about working with her last week.
