Lagos State Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode Set To Release Ministers This Week

 Lagos Gov. Ambode set to announce cabinet this week
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, is expected to announce members of his cabinet this week.
According to a report by The PUNCH, fifteen names have been penciled down by the governor to head some of the 20 ministries in the state.
Those in the purported list include Mrs. Modupe Akinsola as Commissioner for Tourism, Folarin Coker as Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Paul Kalejaiye as Commissioner for Agriculture, Mrs. Lola Akande as Commissioner of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, and Mr. Mohammed Kabiru, whose designation is yet to be revealed.

Others include Dr. Dayo Mobereola as Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Ganiyu John as Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku as Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbolahan Lawal as Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Abdullateef Abdulkareem as Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr. Sulaimon Oriyomi as Commissioner of Local Government and Community Affairs, and Prof. Ademola Abass as Commissioner of Wealth Creation and Employment.

The state Deputy Governor, Dr. Oluranti Adebule, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree in Islamic Studies (1992) and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Studies (1997), is to head the education ministry.
Others said to be on the list expected to be announced this week, include, Ms. Ramotallahi Akinola-Hassan, Mr. Kazeem Adeniyi; and Mr. Adekunle Salvador.
