Does Demi Lovato need to check back in
to rehab? The pop singer has always been open about her drug addiction,
eating disorders, and self-harming after her trip to rehab back in
2010. Over the years the singer has used her trials and tribulations to
try and set an example for her young fan base. But, according to a new
report, Demi is tail-spinning and fallen off the wagon. A new tabloid report claims that the singer has begun partying non-stop, and that has triggered her eating disorder as well.
This week’s edition of In Touch Magazine
reveals that Demi Lovato’s family and close friends are concerned that
the singer has fallen off the wagon – and she isn’t even trying to hide
her drinking and partying from them! Insiders say that Demi’s risqué
Video Music Awards performance was more or less a cry for help, and it
is obvious that her body-image issues and eating disorder are back with a
vengeance.
A source dished to In Touch Magazine,
“Demi has been very self-conscious lately and hasn’t been hiding the
fact that she is resorting to her old ways to cope. She’s back to
drinking and partying.” The source adds that once Demi began partying,
she fell off her diet and became bloated, and that triggered her eating
disorder and body-image issues.
Also her newly rekindled friendship with
Selena Gomez, who also has been boozing an awful lot lately, is not
helping her sobriety one bit. For those of you who don’t remember, Demi
actually stopped hanging out with Selena because she wouldn’t sober up
and was a bad influence on her sobriety – now they are posting selfies
together online again.
Demi Lovato has a packed schedule over
the course of the next few weeks as she promotes her new album
“Confidence,” so it doesn’t look like she will be settling down any time
soon to get the treatment she needs – which means that her problems
will only get worse. It will be a miracle if Demi Lovato makes it
through 2015 without checking back in to rehab. Do you think the singer
is in trouble, or are her pals overreacting? Let us know what you think
