Fashion Designer Blasts Honourable Desmond Olusola Elliot Over Social Fraud

A fashion designer ‘Gentle Inspired’ who has been nominated for the “Fast Rising Designer of the Year” at the last Lagos Fashion Awards (LFA), has taken to his instagram page to put actor turned politician Desmond Elliot on blast for what can be described as social fraud.
According to the designer, Desmond Elliot has been wearing his designs but haven’t given him necessary publicity as agreed.
In some photos shared by the designer on his instagram page, the actor and film director is seen dressed in what appears to be designs by ‘Gentle Inspired’.

The up and coming designer in his complaints have claimed he has been begging the celebrity for recognition on social media but has gotten none till date even though he enjoys wearing outfits by ‘Gentle Inspired’.
It’s unclear if Desmond Elliot who was elected as a lawmaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency, in the April 11, 2015 Nigerian General Elections, paid for any of the designs, but the designer has alleged that Desmond Elliot threatened to have him arrested over several verbal attacks he has received from the designer.
Sharing several screenshots of his conversation with Desmond, he wrote: “So this is how @desmondelliot pays me for all my suffer, sleepless nights and my hard earned money. This man is a wolf in sheep clothing. I’m still waiting for you to arrest me! We had an agreement you would give shout outs, tag me and give me necessary publicity but u took all my clothes, enjoy them and NEVER give me any shoutout! Is this the way you would be the Change?(sic).”
Efforts to reach the actor has proved abortive as at the time of posting this. Also Desmond Elliot is yet to comment officially on the issue.
