.
These astonishing pictures won't come as any comfort to those scraping away at a relentless job to afford the rent each month .
They show the interior of a modernist three bedroom, five bathroom house split over three floors.
It costs £2.9 million and was just bought by a 23-year-old who made a fortune playing video games online.
Jordan Maron, who goes by the username CaptainSparklez on YouTube , earned megabucks playing popular building game Minecraft.
Maron streams his gaming live to an audience of 8.8 million subscribers on YouTube and several million more on Twitch, according to Variety .
And because YouTube pays its top stars advertising money based on how many views they get, Maron is able to afford the luxurious Hollywood pad.
It includes an infinity pool, outdoor fireplace, sunken wet-bar and a view over Los Angeles.
And, with a view like that, who'd want to spend their time inside looking at a screen?
