The names of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second batch of ministerial nominees have been revealed by the Senate.
The nominees were unveiled today, October 13, 2015, during the plenary session of the upper legislative chamber.
The Senate is also currently screening some of the nominees whose names were sent by Buhari on September 30.
Here are the nominees whose names appeared on the second list:
- Brigadier-General Dan Ali, Rtd
- Prof. Isaac Adewole, a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan
- James Ocholi (SAN) APC governorship aspirant in Kogi state
- Anthony Anwuka, a Professor of Education Administration
- Okechukwu Enelamah, the CEO of African Capital Alliance.
- Claudius Omoyele Daramola, a Professor of Sociology of Education from Ondo state.
- Aisha Abubakar
- Adamu Adamu
- Hajia Bukar Ibrahim, the former first lady of Yobe State.
- Senator Heineken Lokpobiri
- Jeffery Onyeama.
- Kadija Ibrahim
- Abubakar Bawa
- Muhammadu Bello
