Beyonce and Jay-Z’s divorce
is reportedly on hold…again. It’s no secret that Bey and Jay’s marriage
is nothing more than a publicity scam at this point according to many
reports. Both Beyonce and Jay-Z have been miserable for years, but at
the end of the day – they are worth more married than they are divorced.
Just a few months ago, reports hit the Internet that Beyonce had
finally pulled the plug on her sham of a marriage – and the couple were
meeting with divorce lawyers. Now, they have put the divorce on hold
because the media exposed their plans.
This week’s edition of National Enquirer
reveals that Beyonce and Jay-Z decided to shelf their divorce plans
until the buzz over their marriage being nothing but a business
agreement dies down. An insider dished to National Enquirer, “They
didn’t want the media to be right. For them, it’s about control and
keeping the media, their fans, their family – and everyone else – off
track.”
As soon as Bey and Jay’s divorce story
hit the tabloids, the couple ran out and signed a lease to rent a Los
Angeles mansion for a year – at a pretty penny of course. According to
the National Enquirer, co-signing the lease was nothing more than a
publicity rouse. And, Beyonce and Jay-Z haven’t even been living in the
same house for quite a while now.
Basically, Beyonce and Jay-Z have built a
brand together as one unit. If they file for divorce now, they will
basically be confirming what the media and skeptical fans have been
saying for months – that their “marriage” is basically just a business
agreement. Every time sources leak information to the tabloids about the
sham, Bey and Jay gear up the publicity and do things like publicly
co-signing leases together and obviously staged PDA pictures for the
paparazzi.
The fact that the couple tries so hard
to put out a unified front when divorce rumors hit the internet, only
makes them seem more trouble. If Bey and Jay were truly happy and madly
in love – they wouldn’t even notice the divorce rumors or feel a need to
prove them wrong.
