The Beat FM 97.9 will fully be launching services in Ibadan on Friday, February 1, 2013 so this is the perfect time to know the six different presenters who will be running the channel..
We’ve already done you the service of profiling them (we went snooping on their website!).
So here are the faces to the voices that will be entertaining the
citizens of the largest city in Africa for the next set of months.
Abby Oyebade
Abby is described as Vivacious, fun and
witty. Singing and song-writing since the tender age of 10, she got
shipped off to the United States to continue her high school and college
education.
A Marketing Communications graduate and a
certified voice-over artist; she’s no stranger to the world of
television and radio. She’s a great ball of energy, lover of books,
movies, traveling and good food.
Olah Emdin
Olah was born on the 22nd of May. She’s a graduate of Education Administration from the University of Lagos.
Olah says she’s young at heart, loves to
read, travel, is a fun-loving, lover of good and all time Mercedes
freak! She says she has an insane passion for music from House, R&B,
Reggae, Hip-Hip, Calypso, Jazz and Classic Music.
Rolake ‘Rolly’ Bello
Rolly says she’s a fun loving witty lady
born and raised in Lagos who recently returned home from an extended
stay in the United Kingdom.
With a background in law and psychology,
she’s a fun loving person referred to as somewhat afro-centric by her
close friends, she loves travelling, hunting for antiques, and music of
all genres, poetry, art and history.
Rolly is very open-minded, with her what you see is what you get.
TRIPLE-X (Mark Yinka Oremosu)
This hip-hop rapper turned On-Air
Personality has tried it all – from acting, reality show stardom (he was
on Big Brother Nigeria) to performing his music on stage, MCing Events
and hosting numerous radio shows on silverbird’s Rhythm 93.7fm Benin.
Still in his thirties, he’s a big man with a big heart and equally huge
Sense of humor.
Yinka (as his close friends and family
call him) loves Hanging out at the beach, traveling, helping charities,
meeting new People and working on his writing, which is the second
passion. He always loves a challenge and feels it’s only logical that
his off the Wall humor, experience and intelligence have found a new
home at THE BEAT.
Vickie Alozie
Vickie Alozie became a household name
years ago when her sexy voice came through our speakers every weeknight
on the Love Zone at COOL FM Lagos before she was fired in 2011.
After a short hiatus, she’s back on the
airwaves as the Morning Show Host of Beat FM Ibadan. Brace yourselves
guys, you’re in for a rollercoaster ride.
Tyeng Gang
Tyeng Gang, popularly known as GANG won
‘The Future Award’ 2009 for The Best OAP (Radio). Gang who is a twin has
the most experience working at Cool FM and KISS FM both in Abuja. He is
34 year old and is married to a banker with whom he has a baby girl…
