Evacuation Of Abandoned Aircraft Nationwide Begined By FAAN

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), last week began the evacuation of all abandoned aircraft in airports across the country. A special task force committee was set up to handle the project. The evacuation of abandoned aircraft began from the Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, from there it will move to Abuja airport. The 13 abandoned aircraft in Lagos will be dismantled and its parts transported to a steel company for recycling.
