They don’t ‘shout’ as much as their
musician colleagues, but Nigerian stand-up comedians have been making
big bucks for many years. And they’re still in the business, building
revenues that’ll shock and surprise you, and living the life many can
only dream of.
From I go Dye to Basketmouth and Ali Baba,
these men are not only making us laugh; they’re making their bankers
happy too. And they’ve since gone past those days when they had to
convince patrons that being funny is serious business.
Following recent acquisitions revealed
by investigations, we went out to find out what they’ve been
spending their money on lately…
What was once a job which was looked
down upon (just like doing music in the 90s), is now a craft that rakes
in millions. And theses fellas have the evidence to show they are living
large with their houses, expensive lifestyle but most notably their
automobiles.
In the last few months, at least eight
comedians have acquired expensive four-wheel toys or sedans that’ll have
you contemplating a career change.

His new relationship status isn’t the only thing Teju is happy about. If you have a Lexus LS 600h

also drives a Toyota Landcruiser.

This proves that luxurious and most expensive cars are usually with celebrities. Well, I can say that they truly deserve this kind of luxury because we all know that they worked hard just to get this, right? -Stelle Courney
