Mustapha Azeez, A.K.A Azx was born August 6th he is a Nigerian classic singer, from the western side of Nigeria. He grew up in the district of Satellite Town of Lagos State where he attended Loral Nursery and Primary School and completed his Senior Secondary at Model College Ojo, Lagos and finally studied Business Administration Management at Lagos State Polytechnic, he derives his inspiration from his environment. During his secondary school days Azx formed a group called Zealous Minds, but later, everybody parted ways and he went on solo as Azx. He has worked with the likes of 2face, 9ice and Sound Sultan. He later left the group to kick up a solo track in the year 2000, the first single was titled “Timo Ban Sere’’ which was well accepted by his fans.
Azx is known for the use of Yoruba language in his music, it’s always cool when he mixes it with, Pidgin English and Igbo. For his love for music and his fans, Azx decided to drop another hit single titled “Sumobi” which has been accepted by his fans, clubs, Djs, media, internet and magazines.
